Dr. Alberto Florez, PT, DPT
Dr. Florez is a board certified Doctor of Physical Therapy. He is a functional based, strength and movement focused physical therapist with expert training in sports medicine, strength sports, orthopedic injuries, and sports performance training. Originally from Bogota, Colombia; He moved to the US at a young age and attended high school in Snyder. Dr. Florez earned his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Texas Tech University. Dr. Florez is married to his dear wife Ira Florez and is the proud father of two children, Mila Rose and Miles J. He is a Christian man saved by grace and gives all glory to his Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Dr. Florez embodies a relentless commitment to empowering active individuals and athletes at every stage of their journey, from budding talents in middle school to seasoned professionals. With unwavering dedication, expertise, and passion, Dr. Florez champions their physical well-being, unlocking their fullest potential, and guiding them towards peak performance. Dr. Ian Matthews, DO
Dr. Ian Matthews grew up in eastern Kansas and earned his undergraduate degree in Life Sciences from Kansas State University. He attended Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating as a Doctor of Osteopathy in 2013. After completing an Osteopathic internship in Bradenton, FL he served for four years as an Air Force Flight Surgeon. After completing his commitment to the Air Force, Dr. Matthews finished internal medicine residency at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He strives to integrate this fund of experience and knowledge with osteopathic philosophy in order to deliver whole-person care to his patients centered around manual therapies. He is a practitioner of Advanced Muscle Integration Technique (AMIT) as well as a variety of Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) modalities, including Cranial Osteopathy. Dr. Matthews lives in Lubbock with his wife and children. His hobbies include lifting weights, studying history and brewing specialty coffee.
Stu MSN, FNP-C
Stu is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for promoting wellness. He originally attended Covenant School of Nursing in Lubbock, Texas where he received his RN license in 2005, followed by his graduation from Lubbock Christian University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. While working in the Covenant Children’s Emergency Department, he completed his Master of Science in Nursing in 2013 with a Family Nurse Practitioner Certification from West Texas A&M University. He has worked in a variety of medical practice specialty settings to include pain management with focus on peripheral neuropathy, joint, and back pain, adult and pediatric emergency/urgent care, physical medicine and rehabilitation with training in regenerative medicine, men’s wellness, family practice, and most recently neurosurgery.
Stu is an active member of several professional organizations including the Texas Nurse Practitioners Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
Stu and his wife, Annalisa, are raising 3 teenage boys. Together they enjoy traveling, attending kids’ extracurricular activities, enjoy promoting fitness, and love their church family at Live Oak Community Church.
Dr. Ariel Cambern, PT, DPT
Dr. Ariel Cambern, a passionate Physical Therapist began her journey into the field at Texas Tech University. There, she earned a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. Driven by her desire to dive deeper into the science of rehabilitation and performance enhancement, she pursued her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, Texas. Throughout her academic journey, Dr. Cambern's fascination with the intricacies of the human body grew, particularly in the realms of women's health, pelvic floor rehabilitation, orthopedic injuries, and sports performance.
As a physical therapist, Dr. Cambern is deeply committed to her patients' well-being and recovery. She understands that injuries and physical challenges can significantly impact one's quality of life and ability to engage in the activities they love. It is this understanding that drives her to provide personalized, compassionate care to each individual she treats. Dr. Cambern empowers her patients to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. Whether it's helping a new mother regain pelvic floor strength, assisting an athlete in recovering from a sports injury, or guiding someone through orthopedic rehabilitation, she is dedicated to providing comprehensive support every step of the way.
